For use on sealed real wood surfaces. Perform an adhesion test before using on engineered parquet.
Please test on a small inconspicuous spot before first application. The surfaces must be clean, release-agent free and properly prepared to ensure faultless adhesion and appearance. Do not let the product dry on the mop. Close canister immediately after use. Avoid draughts during use and drying. Excessive wet wiping and standing water can damage the wood surface.
Preparation of the surface:
Use moist cleaning cloths to remove dust from new, professionally sealed wood surfaces. Use Kiehl-Parketto-clean Concentrate to moisten and wipe off stubborn dirt. Dry clean used parquet surfaces before coating (use Kiehl-Legno Pad). Accruing dust must be removed.
Coating:
Depending on the absorbency of the surface, 1‒2 layers at intervals of approx. 90 minutes.
After preparing the surfaces, apply a thin coat of undiluted product to the clean floor using a flat mop or waxer. Consumption: 25.0‒30.0 ml/m² per application.
Spray buffing for restoring damaged parts of the coating:
Dilute product 1:1 with cold water.
Apply using a spray bottle and polishing machine (approx. 1000 rpm). Consumption: 1.5 ml/m².
Intermittent maintenance:
250 ml to 8 L of cold water.
Dip the mop into the cleaning solution, press out thoroughly and wipe the surface. Consumption: 1.0 ml/m².
Polishing:
Occasional polishing (approx. 1000 rpm) compacts the care components, removes scuff marks caused by traffic and increases durability.
